Comar, Inc. promotes Michael Ruggieri to President.

BUENA, NEW JERSEY, October 24, 2007, Comar Incorporated – a leading designer and manufacturer of liquid dispensing products and plastic packaging solutions serving the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, health and personal care markets, has announced the promotion of Michael Ruggieri to President, effective immediately. Henry Tamagni, President and CEO of Comar Inc. since 1985, will transition into the role of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Comar.
“Mike’s depth and breadth of knowledge of the Pharmaceutical packaging market, extensive manufacturing experience, high energy and strong leadership skills make him ideally suited to lead Comar to the next level of business growth," said Henry Tamagni. Henry also added that “Mike represents the 3rd generation of family leadership of Comar and assures that the company will remain solidly founded on its core values of integrity, quality, customer focus, innovation and a continuing commitment to our people and principles that have driven our success for the last 50 plus years”.

Ruggieri began his career at Comar in 2000. Since then, he has served in an array of roles, most recently as General Manager overseeing Operations, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Ruggieri earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
