1951 TST Glass Company begins converting glass tubing for the healthcare industry
1961 Comar begins manufacturing finished vials using its own equipment
1981 Total Packaging Concept is acquired, plastic molding capabilities introduced
1982 Product line expanded to introduce disposable pipettes
1985 Patented Neutraplex glass tubular vial improves glass vial stability
1985-1988 TBL Plastic acquired, proprietary processes and patents added
1990-1994 Venture Plastics, Teledyne’s molded container division, and Tompkin Seal acquired. ISO Certification achieved
1996 Design and engineering center drives value with enhanced products
2003 New liquid dispensing syringes launched to meet the needs of the oral delivery market
2006 Liquid dispensing syringes offer better accuracy, available prefilled with No-Choke cap
2007 Michael Ruggieri named President, glass division divested to Kimble Glass and glass pipette operation retained
2010 Universal Container Corp. (Unicon) of Cayey, Puerto Rico is acquired.
2013 Comar announced its successful recapitalization with Graham Partners, providing access to additional capital and resources to support expansion and broaden product development and manufacturing capabilities in North America
2014 Graham Partners and Scandia Plastic acquire PMI and Convergence Packaging Holdings is formed.
2014 Partnered with two other injection manufacturers in Wisconsin to form the St. Croix County Manufacturing Consortium which received two Wisconsin Fast Forward workforce training grants from the state’s Department of Workforce Development.
2015 Comar invests $6MM for Rancho Cucamonga plant expansion and receives ISO Certification
2016 Fully integrated under the Comar brand, the corporate office expands and relocates to the Philadelphia area.
2017 The ID Center is built in Buena, NJ and IDworks® is formally launched.
2017 Comar acquires ProPlas Technologies and Shore Plastic Technologies.
2018 Comar acquires West Bend Plastics, Inc & West Bend Containers, Inc.
2018 Comar recapitalizes with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.
2019 Comar acquires iMARK Molding, LLC.
