Closures

We supply a diverse line of caps, closures, and lids to fit your vials, jars, packers, bottles, canisters, and containers. Chose from continuous-thread (CT), child-resistant (CR), hinged-dispensing, tamper-evident, or snap-top.  Our closures come with various liner options including foam, pressure sensitive, and heat induction as required.

Continuous-Thread (CT) Closures

Continuous-Thread (CT) closures are designed to work with glass and plastic containers where the threads are wrapped around the neck of the container continuously. This is the most common style of closure. Neck finishes are identified by two numbers separated by a hyphen (i.e, 38-400) The first number is always in mm and refers to the diameter of the outside threads. The second number refers to the thread style (i.e., 400, 410, 415, etc.) and relates to the number of thread turns (e.g., 1, 1.5, 2, etc.). The closure finish chosen must match the neck finish of the container to ensure an optimal fit.

• Linerless style closures are also available in 13 mm, 15 mm, and 18 mm diameters. Their crab claw seal design offers optimal sealing security while eliminating the need for a standard liner.
• Decoration: In-house digital full-color printing of graphics, logos, text, or barcodes available upon request
• Material: PP (polypropylene)
• Can be produced with up to 100% post-consumer recycle (PP PCR) content

Child-Resistant (CR) Closures

Child-Resistant closures are designed to require two motions (push-and-turn or squeeze-and-turn) to remove them from a container, making it challenging for a child to access the contents. They are mandated by law to protect children from exposure to potentially harmful products sold in the Rx and OTC pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and cannabis industries. They are also frequently used as a safety precaution in the packaging of cosmetics, personal care products, and household chemicals. All of our CR closures are of the push-and-turn type.

SecureCap® QuarterLoc®

Our patented SecureCap® QuarterLoc® Child-Resistant closure offers the familiar push-and-turn child-resistant closure in a low-cost, one-piece design. The one-piece design reduces manufacturing complexity and uses 40% less plastic. By providing a secure closure with just a quarter turn, QuarterLoc® is easier to use because it eliminates the potential for thread misalignment and cocked closures.

• For use with our PET Packer with a QL-compatible neck finish
• Soft ribs for added comfort
• More audible and tactile closing for an added sense of security

Hinged Dispensing / Tamper-Evident (HingeGard®)

Comar manufactures a complete line of HingeGard® packer bottle closures for tamper-evident, dispensing of vitamins, nutritional products, and OTC drug and pharmaceutical products.

Features and Options:

• Sizes: 38 mm, 45 mm, and 53 mm for HingeGard® style packer bottles
• Lined with induction heat-sealable materials to provide package integrity and protection against pilfering
• Standard Color: White and Black with custom colors upon request
• Embossed shells are available on request for a custom look
• Material: LDPE (low-density polyethylene)

Wipe Canister Lids

Features and Options:

• Sizes: 80 mm, 105 mm, 120 mm
• Fit based on neck diameter, lids work with all single snap, double or triple seal canisters
• Standard Colors: White, Yellow, Blue, Green with custom colors available
• Style: Flat or Dome
• Multiple well options (orifices) for threading the first wipe or to accommodate specific materials (lightweight to heavy-weight non-wovens) based on application
• Well design and seal impact the rate of evaporation of the formula during storage and usage
• Option to add custom logos/artwork on the top of the 80 mm and 105 mm lids via tooling inserts

Dropper Tip Caps

Designed to cover the dropper tip and screw securely to the bottle keeping the contents safe.

Oral Syringe Tip Caps and Stands

• Standard Tip Cap snaps on and seals the syringe tip
