Comar makes an assortment of fitments and adapters that are inserted securely into a bottle with a corresponding neck size to serve a particular function or purpose. Our dropper fitments control droplet dispensing, our press-in bottle adapters enable consumers to fill oral syringes without creating a mess, and our sealing discs guard your beauty and personal care products against contamination.

Dropper Tip Fitments

Inserted into the neck of our dropper squeeze bottles, dropper tip fitments allow for proper dispensing of controlled-size droplets.

• Sizes: 8 mm, 13 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm, and 20 mm
• Controlled drop sizes: 40 µl, 50 µl, and 60 µl
• Volumetric drop forms on the tip for accurate placement

Press-In Bottle Adapters (Orifice Reducers)

Press-in bottle adapters allow for increased dosing accuracy when filling oral syringes. Available in various sizes, they fit securely in any bottle with a corresponding opening size. The adapters allow a user to easily draw liquid with an oral syringe, ensuring accurate dosing while avoiding spills; they fit flush with the bottle opening so that the original cap can be placed on the bottle.

Features & Options

• Vented or Non-Vented: Vented adapters can be used where large doses coupled with low head-space may create a vacuum inside the container. The vent allows air into the bottle as a dose is extracted.
• Sizes: 20 mm, 24 mm, 28 mm, and 33 mm
• Easy, spill-free prefilling of oral syringes

DoseGuard® Valved Bottle Adapters

Comar designed the DoseGuard® to improve on traditional bottle adapters that simply act as open-flow restrictors. Our design employs a passive valve to provide closed flow control thereby keeping liquid medications child-safe. The DoseGuard® has been recognized for its proven ability to protect children from an accidental overdose of liquid medications and is compatible with standard containers and oral syringes. The improved flexibility of DoseGuard® allows it to more easily integrate with packaging lines, and gives manufacturers of liquid over-the-counter and prescription medications an additional means to comply with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)  PROTECT Initiative.

Features & Options

• Sizes: 20 mm, 24 mm, and 28 mm
• Works with standard bottles of HDPE, LDPE, PP, PET, or glass material
• Securely connects to container finish are rests on top of the finish, this low profile allows for use of a standard closure
• Patented valve design remains closed until the tip of the oral syringe is inserted into the valve
• Valve opening is customizable to specific product viscosity and is easily adaptable to an open-hole flow restrictor for use with products requiring dosage cups
• Single material one-piece construction reduces contamination risks
• Material: LDPE (low-density polyethylene)

Sealing Discs

While mostly aesthetic, sealing discs can provide an effective secondary barrier to outside contamination. Sealing discs pair best with unlined closures and are primarily used with dry products and creams, keeping the product off the closure and inside the jar where it belongs. We offer sealing discs in a variety of sizes.

• Sizes: 48 mm, 53 mm, 58 mm, 70 mm, and 89 mm
• Produced extra thick to eliminate the potential for sagging in the center
• Molded with lifting tabs to provide consumer-friendly removal
